Premio Hot Italian Sausage Panni Sandwiches

Premio Hot Italian Sausage Panni

  • 1 pkg. Premio Hot Italian Sausage, pre-cooked as per directions and thinly slice on bias
  • 8 individual foccacia
  • 1/2 pound Provolone cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 pound spinach leaves, washed and drained
  • 1/2 cup creamy Italian dressing

1. Cut foccacia horizontally and brush with dressing.
2. Layer each sandwich with cheese, spinach, onion, sausage, and cheese again, pressing down on each layer.
3. Spray a heavy skillet or griddle with non-stick oil, and toast sandwiches on both sides, pressing down with back of spatula.
Makes 8 sandwiches
