Serious Sausage Guacamole Recipe

1 package Premio Chorizo Sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces, cooked and drained
3 tablespoons plus 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, divided
4 tablespoons chopped onion, divided
2 tablespoons minced, seeded jalapeno pepper
2 tablespoons minced, seeded Serrano pepper
2 teaspoons chopped chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
3-4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 medium ripe avocados, peeled and cubed
1/3 cup fresh tomatoes, finely chopped
1 tablespoon lime juice

  • Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
  • Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.

How to make Serious Sausage Guacamole Recipe:

1. In a large bowl, combine the 3 tablespoons cilantro, 2 tablespoons onion, all your peppers, garlic, and salt; mash together with a fork.
