Italian Stuffed Mushroom


6.5 ounces Premio Sweet Italian Sausage Meat
3/4 cup plain bread crumbs
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons fresh flat leaf parsley, minced
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
14 large white mushrooms cleaned with stems and gills removed
Non-stick cooking spray

  • Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
  • Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.

How to make Italian Stuffed Mushroom:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sausage with all of the ingredients through the parmesan cheese; Mix well.

2. Line a baking dish with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Fill each of the mushrooms with approximately 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture and then place in the baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree (F) oven for approximately 30 minutes or until stuffing is golden and mushrooms are cooked through. Serve and enjoy!
