    Italian Chicken Rolls



    • 1 lb Premio Sweet Italian Sausage
    • 1 Yellow Onion, Chopped
    • 1 Red Bell Pepper, Chopped
    • 4 oz Ricotta Cheese
    • 1 Tsp Salt
    • 1 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
    • 1 Tsp Dried Italian Seasoning, Crushed
    • 4 Boneless Chicken Breast, pounded flat to 1/8" thickness
    • 4 oz Swiss Cheese
    • 1 Cup Flour
    • 1 Cup Buttermilk
    • 1 Cup Seasoned Bread Crumbs
    • 1 Tsp Salt
    • 1 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
    • 1 Tsp Dried Italian Seasoning
    • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil

    How to make Italian Chicken Rolls :

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Preheat Skillet. Add Premio Sweet/Mild Italian Sausage, Chopped Onions, and Bell Pepper. Cook until meat is browned. Drain and return to pan. Add Ricotta Cheese and mix well. Mix salt, pepper, and Italian Seasoning in flat pan. Coat Chicken in seasoning mix on 1 side. Fill Breast with 2 heaping tablespoons of sausage mixture, seasoned size up, with Sausage. Add 1 oz of Swiss Cheese. Roll Chicken Breast, securing with Toothpicks. Mix Seasoned bread crumbs, salt, pepper and Italian Seasoning. Dip rolled Chicken in flour, buttermilk, and coat with breadcrumb mixture. Brown in vegetable oil until golden. Transfer to baking pan or cookie sheet and place in oven. Cook an addition 15 minutes.
