Ingredients:

4 Premio Chorizo Sausage links, sliced
1/2 cup diced yellow onion
1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 cup cooked, canned red beans
1/4 cup diced tomato
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1 bay leaf
3 cups long grain rice
5 cups chicken stock
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon pepper
3 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon dry oregano

  • Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
  • Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.

How to make Arroz Con Salchichas:

1. In a large, shallow pan, brown Premio Sausage. Add onion, peppers, tomato and garlic; cook until glassy. Add rice and stir for 2 minutes on high heat.

2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

3. As rice cooks, tt will absorb liquid and craters will form in rice. At this point, lower heat to low and cover for 13-15 minutes.
