Spicy Pork Pot Stickers with Sauce

Ingredients:

1 pound Premio Sweet Italian Sausage Meat
3 cloves garlic, crushed
3 scallions, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 teaspoons soy sauce
1 egg, well beaten
1/4 cup panko crumbs
20-25 wonton wraps
1 cup water to glue the pot stickers
1 cup canola oil to fry the pot stickers
Sauce:
1 cup apricot jam
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 scallions, minced
1 clove garlic, crushed

  • Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
  • Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.

How to make Spicy Pork Pot Stickers with Sauce:

1. In a bowl, add sausage meat, garlic, scallions, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, egg and panko crumbs; mix well and set aside.

2. Open up wonton skins and fill about 1 teaspoon in each one. Close by wetting the egdes and fold (make sure the egdes are sealed).

3. Heat oil to medium/high heat. Fry about 1 minute on each side. Drain on paper bag or paper towels. Serve pot stickers with sauce .
